It has taken me so long to get the courage to do this but I finally did! Although there are many fertility doctors in Houston we decided to go to a doctor from Brownsville that was recommended to us from our friends who had done In Vitro before. It was about 2 months of driving down there and taking shots and pills until we finally went in for the Intrauterine Insemination procedure. We were so excited and 100% sure that we were pregnant but God had other plans. This was one of the hardest moments of my life. I struggled with depression for the first time and cried myself to sleep for days but I overcame by Gods strength and grace. I will REJOICE in the middle of my pain.
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Romans 5:3-5 ESV
